About UsWelcome to the Northern SikhsÃÂ website. Who Are We?
We are a group of volunteers based in the North Of England committed to Sikh community work. We provide educational and social resources to Sikh Youth at Universities and within local society.
Some of our volunteers are currently at University invloved with Sikh Youth Societies while others have graduated to continue with supporting roles.
Those who have graduated return to their home towns to continue supporting sikh youth resources through their local Gurdwara's (Sikh Place Of Worship).
We are initially a collective group of University Sikh Societies, based in the North of England to educate students about the unique Sikh faith and provide advice and support to all students when they need it.
In the past, we have organised numerous events ranging from talks and discussions to paintballing. The society is open to students from all walks and backgrounds of life, not only Sikhs and Punjabi's. To learn more about Sikh Societies, please click here. |
